Maintain general ledger accounts and perform monthly/month-end closing Reconcile balance sheet accounts (e.g. AR, AP, inventory, prepaid, accruals) Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks Support cash flow forecasting and bank reconciliations Assist in preparing financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial analysis (e.g. cost accounting, budget variance) Help with audit preparation, internal controls, and compliance activities Special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2–4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience in a corporate or manufacturing environment Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar) Understanding of GAAP principles Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team Preferred: experience with ERP systems, cost accounting, or manufacturing accounting Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan (e.g. 401(k) or equivalent) Paid time off / vacation / holidays Growth opportunities within the company For purposes of confidentiality, you can apply by emailing sfields@servicespecialistltd.com.
