Position Summary
This role involves the assembly and integration of electrical and mechanical components to build functional systems. The technician will perform tasks related to wiring, instrumentation, troubleshooting, and system verification, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and integrate electrical/mechanical components using techniques such as wire stripping, crimping, soldering, and splicing.
Install wiring systems including conduit and EMT (bending, threading).
Conduct circuit testing and verification using digital multimeters (DMM) for AC/DC voltage and resistance measurements.
Install and verify functionality of transducers, thermocouples, flowmeters, and other test instruments.
Troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems.
Interpret and wire according to electrical schematics.
Mount enclosures and electrical devices, run conduit/EMT, and pull cables.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong understanding of electrical systems (120VAC and 24VDC).
Proficient in using hand tools and reading electrical schematics.
Ability to work independently and safely.
Experience working with electrical and mechanical devices.
Effective communication and documentation skills.
Familiarity with soldering techniques and Ethernet cable assembly is a plus.
Skilled in using voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
Flexibility to adapt to dynamic work schedules (early start, late finish, adjusted breaks).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with plumbing installation and fabrication, including threaded pipe, flared tubing, and compression fittings.
Pay and Benefits
Pay range: $30.00 - $38.73/hr.
