Overview
Role Summary:
At Lakewood Construction, we don’t just build spaces—we build experiences, relationships, and trust. Our in-house marketing team is growing, and we’re looking for a multi-talented content creator / designer who can bring our brand to life through bold visuals, compelling storytelling, and creative content. As a key part of Lakewood’s marketing team, you’ll help shape how our story is told; from concept to creation. You’ll collaborate with teammates across design, pre-construction, and field operations to capture authentic moments, craft impactful campaigns, and develop content that builds value for our clients, team, and community. Responsibilities
Creative Content & Design Produce high-quality graphics, marketing materials, and creative assets to support campaigns, print pieces, job site signage, and digital platforms. Develop project stories and visual updates for client and community communications. Stay inspired by design trends, competitor campaigns, and creative storytelling ideas. Collaborate with Marketing Specialist to translate concepts and ideas into compelling visuals. Research and brainstorm new content ideas. Update and maintain production-related content for internal operations, job site signage, and other recurring needs. Develop a strong understanding of Lakewood’s “voice”, brand image, and design and aesthetic styles to write, create, and maintain consistent content. Lead design and assembly of proposal responses in partnership with Pre-Construction team. Write, design, and layout compelling content for proposals, RFPs, and interviews. Maintain up-to-date content libraries for project profiles, resumes, and visual assets. Social Media & Digital Content Partner with the Marketing Specialist to ideate, design, and deliver content across social platforms and the website. Capture, edit, or coordinate content (photos, stories, reels) to support brand campaigns. Help drive Lakewood’s voice and visual consistency across every digital touchpoint. Collaborate with Marketing Team to outline content plans, priorities, and goals. Content & Brand Asset Management Organize and tag photography, creative assets, and proposal content. Manage Lakewood’s brand and media libraries to keep everything accessible and on-brand. Build a library of reusable social media graphics and templates. Photography (Nice to Have) Capture and edit photography or short video that tell the story of our people and projects. Help coordinate drone, video, or timelapse shoots. Maintain a growing, searchable media library. What You Bring
A creative portfolio demonstrating strong visual design and content work Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom) and other applicable tools to design, write copy, and develop content. Strong visual design and layout skills with an eye for detail and storytelling Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines A continuous improvement mindset—always looking for ways to do things better, exploring new tools and techniques. Willingness to grow, improve, and be challenged. Bonus: You know your way around a camera. You’re able to visualize shots and edit photos to capture key moments, experiences, and places.
