Overview
We are seeking an Environmental Professional to perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in accordance with ASTM E-1527-21. This role involves site reconnaissance, regulatory research, and preparing technical reports for commercial and residential properties.
Responsibilities
Perform and prepare Phase I ESAs in accordance with ASTM E-1527-21.
Conduct records review, site reconnaissance, and identify Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs), Business Environmental Risks (BERs), and non-scope items.
Conduct interviews and investigate regulatory listings.
Evaluate environmental compliance.
Manage research, field activities, and report preparation.
Develop conclusions and recommendations.
Interpret data and prepare technical reports.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience performing Phase I ESAs.
Must meet the definition of an Environmental Professional per 40 CFR 312.10(b).
Experience with equity purchase and lender Phase I ESAs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in report writing, environmental and regulatory compliance.
Experience in environmental remediation, investigations, site inspection, and environmental assessments.
Work Environment The role involves working 85% of the time in the office and 15% in the field for site visits. The company provides due diligence services across the United States and internationally, with operations across the United States, US territories, the Caribbean, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorestown, New Jersey.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.87/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
