SO, WHAT'S THE STORY? You are starting your career in Finance or Credit and are hungry to prove yourself and learn the ropes while supporting the team. You are always willing to pitch in and help out and are comfortable working on your own or in support of your team.

This is a temporary role with an estimated end date in early April 2026.

THE ROLE

Managing Customer Master Data file including set-up and creation/updating of new accounts

Responding to requests from internal and external customers to make changes, updates, and additions to customer data

Management of the general Credit Inbox

Processing daily invoices and monthly statements

Managing the team’s electronic files and documentation

Managing credit reference requests

Posting and application of customer payments through daily review of lockbox, credit card partner, ACH, and wire deposits

Assisting department with miscellaneous cash posting and reconciliation

Special projects assigned by Credit Manager

Responsible for processing vendor invoices, primarily entering invoices. Other responsibilities could include setting up new vendors, collecting W9s, and collecting approvals from managers.

Work with vendors to resolve billing/payment issues.

Ensure invoices are posted to general ledger with appropriate general ledger codes, approvals, and documentation.

Assisting with other duties and projects as required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Proven experience in a Finance or Credit department strongly preferred

Understanding of basic accounting principles

Experience with a computerized accounting system

Good working knowledge of and experience using Microsoft Excel and Word

Strong analytical skills with attention for details

Professional level verbal and written communication skills

Ability to meet deadlines and organize time, projects, and detailed information

Thrive in a changing and fast paced environment

Ability to work at a standard computer set up 40+ hours per week, with or without accommodations.
