Play a key role in the month-end close process, including drafting and posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and managing the cash posting process. Assist with determining and recording capitalized software development costs. Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Provide support to address internal and external audit requests and inquiries. Perform and document internal controls to support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements. Draft and maintain standard operating procedures for key accounting processes. Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Extensive experience with NetSuite. In-depth knowledge of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (U.S. GAAP). Demonstrated experience in an operational accounting role with proficiency in areas such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and cash posting. Ability to anticipate and meet the needs of both internal and external customers. Delivers high-quality service; is committed to continuous improvement. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. Proven experience working with a U.S. publicly traded company. Experience with SAP Concur and AuditBoard is a plus. Experience in other areas of accounting (i.e., accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, leases, etc.) is a plus. Proven ability and willingness to identify, recommend, and implement process improvements is highly desirable. Seniorities
