highly organized, detail-oriented Investor Relations (IR) Assistant
to join our New York team and support investor communications, fundraising activities, and strategic financial storytelling. Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr What You’ll Do Support ICP communications : Prepare ICP updates, quarterly letters, pitch decks, and briefing materials for the CEO and IR/PR team. Coordinate investor meetings : Schedule, track, and follow up on calls, roadshows, and investor presentations, ensuring smooth end-to-end execution. Manage investor database : Maintain accurate contact records, interaction notes, and deal flow pipelines in CRM systems. Research and market intelligence : Gather competitive landscape data, industry news, and market trends to inform investor discussions and positioning. Prepare supporting materials : Help build financial summaries, KPI dashboards, and impact reports for prospective and current investors. Event logistics : Plan and coordinate investor days, conference appearances, and networking events. Internal coordination : Work cross-functionally with Finance, Product, and Marketing to gather updates, metrics, and success stories relevant to investor relations. Confidentiality & professionalism : Handle sensitive financial and strategic information with discretion and integrity. What We’re Looking For Education & Background : Bachelor’s degree preferred (Finance, Business, Communications, or related field) OR equivalent professional experience. Experience : 1–3 years in investor relations, corporate communications, finance, or executive support in a high-growth company or financial institution. Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for different audiences. Attention to Detail : Meticulous approach to organizing materials, managing calendars, and preparing reports. Tech Savvy : Comfortable with productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office), CRM platforms, and virtual meeting tools (Zoom, Teams). Analytical Mindset : Ability to work with data, track KPIs, and support the creation of investor-ready reports. Professional Presence : Confident in interacting with senior executives, investors, and external partners. Adaptability : Thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment where priorities shift quickly. Nice to Have Exposure to SaaS, FinTech, or AI-driven business models. Experience supporting fundraising processes (Seed to Series B and beyond). Familiarity with lead generation at Conferences, Events and Conventions.
