In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your strong technical and executional skills to support all aspects of the product development cycle – bench top through commercialization supporting innovation.
The right candidate for this role will leverage strong technical problem-solving skills, creativity, and experimentation on a high-priority business. The projects you support in this role will provide you with technical depth and will expose you to a broad range of projects across Pillsbury.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Design, coordinate, and execute experiments from bench top to full-scale manufacturing, including consumer testing; analyze experimental data and extract learning
Collaborate with R&D leads and provide support across innovation; lead and own portions of work or projects; support broad initiatives across Pillsbury where needed
Build and leverage internal/external network (e.g., suppliers) to support and execute work
Participate in pipeline building activities across innovation and HMM
Complete gPLM, PSA, Eclips, etc. activities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's deegree or high school degree with 3-5 years of related experience
Computer/technology skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, Teams)
Comfortable in a lab and manufacturing environment; comfortable operating equipment
Knowledge of food safety and human safety
Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to a team environment
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous work experience in a related field (e.g., food product development)
Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment; desire to learn and apply new concepts quickly
Strong self-starter and holds a high regard for the quality of work
Experience working with suppliers and manufacturing plants

Salary Range The salary range for this position is $50400.00 - $69400.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
