The estimated base salary range for this role is $55,000 to $80,000 per year. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors.

What you\'ll be doing
Providing technical expertise to our customers as a Technical Consultant with Techline group.
Responding to and handling technical customer inquiries via toll-free number, email and live chat.
Responding to Field Sales Technical inquiries.
Working effectively in a team environment.
Capturing technical inquiries in the CRM system.
Responding to inquiries on the use and navigation of the Armstrong website, including operation of online technical tools.
Reviewing customer blueprints and responding to requests for product drawings resolutions to achieve customer satisfaction.
Participating in customer training as a subject matter expert.
What will make you successful
Associate degree.
Technical Certificate or equivalent experience in the building materials field.
1-3 years of customer service experience.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide range of customers and teammates.
Strong organization, listening and problem-solving skills when responding to customer inquiries.
Strong analytical skills with proven technical or product knowledge.
Knowledge and understanding of construction.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven computer skills, including Microsoft Office, SAP and Salesforce.
Desired Qualifications Previous experience in the building materials trade.
