Excuse My Grandma is a multi-generational media brand and podcast hosted by Kim Murstein and her quick-witted Grandma Gail. Across our podcast, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, we’ve built a loyal community of women spanning multiple generations. Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Creative Producer to lead all aspects of Excuse My Grandma’s content and production. This full-time role will work directly with Kim to oversee podcast production, video content, social strategy, and event coverage. The ideal candidate is a seasoned producer with strong editorial instincts, technical production skills, and the ability to manage workflows across podcast, digital video, and social platforms. You should be as comfortable shaping episode strategy and managing post-production as you are filming on a carpet or directing a shoot. Key Responsibilities

Podcast Production & Growth Produce weekly Excuse My Grandma podcast episodes from concept to release. Collaborate with Kim & Gail on episode strategy, themes, and topics. Write episode outlines and prep docs to structure conversations. Lead guest research and outreach, booking talent. Pitch Kim & Gail as guests on other podcasts to expand reach. Coordinate recordings (remote & in-person), manage edits with the editor, and prepare descriptions. Content & Social Assets Work with the video editor to ensure clips, reels, carousels, and raw footage are cut and packaged effectively for social and multi-platform use. Work closely on brand partnerships — brainstorm creative campaign ideas, plan and direct shoots, and ensure deliverables meet both brand and EMG standards. Digital Series Development Collaborate with Kim on shaping a new long-form digital video series. Contribute to concepting, story outlines, and shoot planning as the series moves into development. Potential to direct shoots and oversee post-production once the project is greenlit. Brand Growth & Industry Representation Join Kim at industry meetings, events, and carpets to film content on-site and manage equipment when needed. Capture behind-the-scenes coverage for social/podcast. Suggest new platforms, formats, or collaborations to expand reach. Qualifications
