Echo Electric is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative focused on mainly commercial sales and some industrial electric market in the Ohio region. Candidate area of expertise should include electrical switch gear and lighting, with a diversified background in the commodities to support these solutions. It is expected to own end-to-end selling of appropriate products and focus on driving growth among target accounts and new accounts.
Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities
Identify and Establish Contact with Potential Customers Actively seek out potential customers and initiate contact. Schedule appointments and perform product demonstrations.
Develop and Maintain Customer Relationships Build strong relationships with existing customers. Follow up with potential leads and maintain connections with current clients.
Attend Industry Trade Shows Participate in industry events and trade shows. Identify potential sales leads and engage with existing customers during these gatherings.
Stay Informed About Industry Trends Keep abreast of industry developments. Identify new opportunities for potential sales.
Recommend Targeted Marketing Strategies Suggest effective marketing approaches for specific regions or demographics.
Generate and Submit Sales Reports Provide sales performance insights to management. Track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
What you bring
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with or selling to residential contractors. Education:
High school diploma required. A technical degree is preferred. Interpersonal Skills:
Effective communication and relationship-building abilities are crucial. Negotiation Skills:
Negotiate contracts and pricing. Product Knowledge:
Solid understanding of the products or services represented. Adaptability:
Adapt to different customer needs and market dynamics. Sales Techniques:
