Overview
Gray Hawk Land Solutions is hiring for the position of Sr. Right-of-Way Agent in Kansas City, Missouri. This is an in-office position. The ideal candidate is a self-starter capable of performing tasks with very little or no supervision. Responsibilities
Establishes and maintains good relationships with surface owners and local government officials and agencies. Represents the client and self with professionalism and integrity. Interacts effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and can diffuse tense situations quickly. Negotiate terms for surface agreements, including surface use agreements, pipeline rights of way, and easements. Settle surface damages and ensure access to company assets. Understand surface use agreements, easements, pipeline ROW, surface titles, and related government laws/regulations. Conduct internal and external title research with minimal supervision. Utilize mapping software (GIS, Google Earth) and learn client internal mapping systems as needed. Interpret drawings and redline where needed (Alignment drawings, Certified Property Plats, Permit Drawings, Temporary Workspace Drawings, Construction Access Drawings). Navigate multiple client databases and conduct online research. Demonstrate proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office applications and database tools. Qualifications
Able to work well in a team environment or independently. Experience with geoAMPS or Pandell Projects and ESRI GIS software is preferred. Education/Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the right-of-way industry. Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Diploma, or High School graduate. Pay Rate
This position offers a competitive pay rate for a five-day work week and includes Health, Vision & Dental benefits.
