We are seeking an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter for our client, a leading global security and aerospace company. In this role, you will provide interpretation services for our deaf/hard-of-hearing employees in a machine shop environment. This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role (Mon-Thu 10 hours), and an Onsite role in Orlando, FL. This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Responsibilities Provide accurate and timely ASL interpretation for deaf and hard-of-hearing employees in the machine shop Facilitate communication between employees, supervisors, and other stakeholders Interpret meetings, training sessions, and other work-related activities Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's policies, procedures, and safety protocols Collaborate with others to ensure seamless communication Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and standards Requirements Must have National certification as an ASL Interpreter (e.g., NIC, CI, or CT). 2+ years of experience as an ASL Interpreter in an industrial environment, machine shop or manufacturing setting.
