Primary Responsibilities Capable of reading and interpreting mechanical/integration drawings. Understand the working nature of MRP/ERP systems. Create a bill of materials based on drawings and specs. Create and maintain standardized work instructions based on drawing and specification reviews. Provide floor support for integration, test, and assembly efforts. Work closely with the design, quality and manufacturing teams. Basic Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent Engineering Technology degree with 8-12 years of applicable engineering experience OR a Master’s Degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience in an engineering field. Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio). Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to Huntsville – North Alabama, AL. U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a Final Secret Clearance (or eligibility for a Secret Clearance). Preferred Qualifications Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Manufacturing techniques for military and aerospace assembly. Additional Information Location: Huntsville, AL. This is a full-time position. The pay range is $89,700.00 – $162,150.00.
