Overview Machine Specialties, Inc. is a provider of machined components, special processing and complete assemblies to the aerospace industry. We are looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to our team. This is a full-time exempt position reporting to the Engineering Manager. Responsibilities Develop manufacturing plans based on supplied customer data packages. Optimize existing manufacturing plans to maximize production. Work directly with customers and suppliers to achieve effective manufacturing plans. Position Specific Expectations Driven to develop skills and abilities. Required Training/Education/Experience Minimum of 2-5 years of CAD/CAM experience, preferably Creo or Pro/Engineer. Experience creating models of intricate metal parts to be machined. Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). Ability to read blueprints. Ability to interpret specifications and create work procedures to adhere to specifications. Knowledge of various special processes (e.g., chrome plating, cadmium plating, shot peening, anodizing and paint) is preferred. Ability to work under tight deadlines and produce accurate and effective manufacturing plans. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline. Minimum 2 years of work experience in the Precision Machining field.
