Graphic Packaging International is seeking an experienced, hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead production operations on second shift (12am – 8am) in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing a team of approximately 50 employees during your designated shift, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and team development are at the forefront of operations.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise daily operations for your assigned shift, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are consistently met.
Establish clear expectations for performance and hold team members accountable to meet established targets.
Coordinate all shift activities including planning, staffing, production scheduling, and equipment troubleshooting.
Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including daily crew meetings, 1-on-1 performance discussions, and cross-shift handoffs.
Monitor equipment and enforce proper maintenance and housekeeping standards to minimize downtime.
Interpret and apply company policies and procedures, handling employee relations, corrective actions, and performance reviews.
Analyze production and operating data, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Use Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or similar continuous improvement tools to support process and safety improvements.

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop frontline employees.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage conflict and build team cohesion.
Experience with problem-solving tools such as Troubleshooting, Lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma is highly desirable.
Comfortable working in a 24/7 production facility, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Work a rotating weekend shift (12-hour shifts both Saturday and Sunday).
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $78,750.00 - $105,000.00
