This is a remote position.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position requires a commitment to maintaining the dignity and respect of those we serve while adhering to all relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality administrative and clerical support within the work environment.
Responsibilities
• Keeps the office area organized and operating efficiently, including all filing, keeping the office equipment in good working order, maintains a supply of all forms and updates bulletin boards in a timely manner.
• Responsible for purchases: monitors the inventory of program and office supplies and follows through with the purchasing process.
• Provides reception services: Greets visitors and receives phone calls with courtesy and professionalism; takes accurate phone messages; directs incoming and outgoing calls in a timely and accurate manner; responds to standard inquiries concerning program activities and procedures, and refers more technical questions to appropriate staff.
• Takes minutes at meetings and produces a final typed copy for distribution to appropriate individuals either by hard-copy or electronically.
• Designs, sets up and maintains electronic and hard-copy files of correspondence/documents, codes and files material, and searches for requested material.
• Develops, maintains and updates program manuals and information.
• Transmits instructions from supervisor to appropriate staff orally, in writing or electronically and follows-up to see that instructions are followed and deadlines are met.
• Performs other related duties as required or as assigned.

Requirements
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite, Email, Internet, PDF documents, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact and work well with others
- Must have at least one year of experience as an administrative assistant, secretary, or receptionist
- Must have at least one year of experience working with children
- Accepted applicants must be fingerprinted
