School Psychologist for an opportunity in

Cook County, IL . Bilingual Spanish is strongly preferred.

This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative and student-focused environment. You'll work directly with students, teachers, and families to provide critical support and guidance that promotes educational and emotional success.

Location : Cook County, IL

Grade Level : K-5th grade

Responsibilities

Provide direct social-emotional support and counseling services to students, addressing behavioral, emotional, and social challenges.

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention strategies that promote student success.

Conduct assessments to identify student needs and provide recommendations for appropriate services and accommodations.

Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Advocate for students by connecting them with community resources and support services to address academic, social, and emotional needs.

Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student well-being.

Qualifications

Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.

Illinois State Certification as a School Psychologist and Professional Educator License (PEL).

Proven experience working with diverse student populations and implementing social-emotional interventions.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff.

Bilingual Spanish is strongly preferred.
