Piedmont Atlanta is a 643-bed hospital serving the metro-Atlanta area. Piedmont Heart combines a Level I Cardiovascular Center with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, healthcare professionals and physicians, providing care for cardiac, thoracic and vascular conditions. The program supports a 42-bed CVICU and 22-bed CCU and runs a remote ECMO cannulation program. The Extracorporeal Life Support (ECLS) program at Piedmont Atlanta Hospitals is the first in the nation to earn ECLS Program Certification from DNV GL Healthcare. Responsibilities
Provide high-quality cardiovascular critical care and post-operative care with a focus on minimal cardiac surgery involvement when appropriate Engage with Mechanical Circulatory Support / ECMO initiatives Contribute to ECMO/MCS services and support the remote ECMO program as needed Qualifications
BC MD or DO Active license in GA or eligible to obtain Preferred: 3–5 years of experience in Cardiac Critical Care Strong interest in Mechanical Circulatory Support / ECMO Opportunity Highlights
