This role is part of Witherslack Group’s Midlands Region – Warwickshire. Our clinicians are a crucial part of the most joined‑up model in SEND, working for specialist schools and children’s homes to provide unrivaled clinical support to children and young people with complex needs, including developmental trauma, neuro‑developmental conditions and special educational needs.
Base pay range $37,602.00/yr – $45,426.00/yr
Role Overview The successful candidate will work as part of a multi‑disciplinary clinical team, supporting educational and residential colleagues to create therapeutic living and learning environments. Using clinical assessment and formulation, you will offer individualised interventions and engagement to our young people, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, evidence‑based support.
Responsibilities
Support educational and residential teams in creating therapeutic living and learning environments.
Conduct clinical assessments, formulate treatment plans and deliver interventions for children and young people with complex needs.
Provide supervision, training and ongoing support to staff.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records within the organisation’s systems.
Requirements
Qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
Specialist experience delivering therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs.
Experience supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure clinically informed living and learning environments.
Strong, engaging leadership and coachability – confident, effective and able to train others.
Highly organised, proactive and able to take initiative.
