Conduct tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face and via virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email) Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals, trusts, and partnerships Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services Provide IRS support and guidance to clients Mentor and support teammates What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field CPA or Enrolled Agent certification Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership) 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax Experience conducting virtual tax interviews Experience with tax planning and audit support Sales and/or marketing experience Your Expertise
Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax Experience completing individual returns Experience working in a fast‑paced environment Comfort using virtual tools – video, phone, chat Strong communication skills (in person, phone, writing) High school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred Enrollment in or completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment is not an employment guarantee.
