AR Specialist – Service/Repair role at TK Elevator. This role supports TKE’s financial operations by ensuring accurate, timely, and effective management of customer accounts within our Shared Service Center.

Responsibilities

Oversee a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances and accurate application of payments.

Monitor account activity to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and maintain up-to-date records.

Communicate proactively with customers to address billing questions, payment schedules, and account status.

Maintain thorough, accurate account histories within company systems and review supporting documentation to confirm adherence to payment terms and company policies.

Partner with field operations, management, and Shared Service Center colleagues to align on collection strategies, troubleshoot issues, and support organizational financial goals.

Investigate and reconcile account variances by researching unapplied cash, misapplied payments, or open credits.

Identify opportunities to enhance Accounts Receivable processes, streamline communication between departments, and improve overall collection efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred; HS Diploma required.

At least 1 year of experience within a Shared Service environment.

Experience using MS Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Prioritizing and multi-tasking, working well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Ability to handle sensitive information, maintain a high level of data entry accuracy, and adhere to strict deadlines.

Effective interpersonal skills with all levels of employee, and the ability to communicate positively and effectively, verbally and in writing.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
