Clinical Nurse Coordinator Ortho Spine – Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center
Job Description Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center invites applications for the Clinical Nurse Coordinator Ortho Spine role. This full‑time position focuses on delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care within the orthopedics spine unit and ensuring effective coordination of all unit functions during shifts.
Hourly Wage Estimate $51.88 – $77.82 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient‑centered care.
Participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with management.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and managers to foster teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
Support a patient‑first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
Implement nursing strategies such as employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives to improve engagement.
Provide recommendations for interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, including training, development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
Support inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing – Required
Current California RN License – Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
Preferred: 2 years clinical experience in applicable clinical area.
Preferred: Leadership or management experience.
