Description Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a

Systems Engineer Test (Integrator)

/

Principal Systems Engineer Test (Integrator)

to support the Payload and Ground Systems, a division within Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems Sector in Aurora, CO. The integration & test engineer gains an understanding of the Systems Engineering process across a product’s lifecycle and gains a full appreciation for how the systems operate. The integrator position requires 25% or more travel during site integration, with limited travel otherwise.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain test plans and procedures.

Use CONOPs and operational scenarios as the basis for test procedures.

Debug and integrate COTs and custom software with computer hardware on both Linux and Windows OS.

Communicate effectively and solve problems with internal and external stakeholders.

Operate with minimal direction and oversight, demonstrating ethics and integrity.

Basic Qualifications for Systems Engineer Test (Integrator)

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 0 years of experience; 4 additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required at time of application.

Experience writing test plans and procedures.

Experience using CONOPs and operational scenarios.

Experience debugging and integrating COTs and custom software with hardware on Linux and Windows OS.

Basic Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer Test (Integrator)

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience; Master’s degree with 3 years of experience; PhD with 0 years of experience. 4 additional years may substitute for a degree.

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required at time of application.

Experience writing test plans and procedures.

Experience using CONOPs and operational scenarios.

Experience debugging and integrating COTs and custom software with hardware on Linux and Windows OS.

Preferred Qualifications

Command and Control of ground equipment experience.

Understanding of Agile organizations and Agile process.

CONUS and OCONUS deployment experience.

Enterprise level testing experience.

Salary and Benefits Primary Level Salary Range: $81,300.00 - $121,900.00. Secondary Level Salary Range: $100,300.00 - $150,500.00. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, bonus, long-term incentives, health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, paid holidays and PTO.
