Project Manager Information Technology

at Aquila Technology Remote Must live within 100 miles of Lexington, Massachusetts. Work can be done remotely but onsite visits may be required. Clearance: Must have an active Secret or Top Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen. Responsibilities Execute major projects and programs using standard methodology, templates, tools, and framework for effective project performance. Support efforts to define new projects/programs including scoping, sizing, and planning. Facilitate development of business case, charter, project plan, communications plan, and requirements metrics with input from project teams. Closely track project tasks and progress, report delays, risks, and issues, and coordinate mitigations. Drive project results aligned with strategic organizational objectives. Collaborate with business analysts, technical leads, developers, QA associates, and other key stakeholders from scope definition through implementation. Manage scope, schedule, risks, issues, and changes while minimizing exposure and risk across multiple projects. Hold regular meetings with project teams, including kickoff and close?out meetings, set agendas, document notes, and action items. Provide project/program status reporting to stakeholders, ISD management, and Laboratory senior management, managing expectations across the organization. Partner with technical leads to work closely with vendor PMs and contracting service department to monitor procurement activities. Lead project/program reviews and quality assurance process to ensure successful execution measured by organizational goals and customer satisfaction. Provide a significant level of competency to project teams by leveraging technical acumen and strong business management experience. Ensure projects comply with the organizations enterprise, security, and infrastructure architectures. Actively maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and project management methodologies and tools.

Must Have

U.S. citizen, authorized to work in the U.S.; must obtain and maintain an active Secret/Top Secret clearance. Within 100 miles of Lexington, Massachusetts. Bachelors degree. 8 years of experience in application programming, database and system design, planning, program/project management, change management, budgeting, project timelines, issue resolution, large multi?year program management, POA&M, PLM, PMBOK, status reports, resource planning, waterfall methodology, cross?functional teams, software, cloud implementations (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), and ServiceNow implementation. Strong knowledge of PMBOK and waterfall methodology. Experience with cloud implementations and ServiceNow. Leadership and communication skills. Ability to work dynamically and energize multidisciplinary teams, learn, negotiate, and problem?solve to achieve project objectives.

Nice to Have

PMP Certification. ITIL Foundations or Certification.
