Senior Software Engineer (Java / Spring Boot / React)
Hybrid – Salt Lake City, UT (1 day onsite per week)
We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team that’s building award-winning, large-scale SaaS products used globally.
This position is ideal for engineers who are backend-focused but enjoy contributing across the full stack. You’ll join a small, highly collaborative group of developers focused on modernizing systems, enhancing scalability, and improving performance through clean, maintainable code.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain Java / Spring Boot microservices within a distributed architecture.
Build scalable APIs and integrate across systems using Kafka and event-driven design.
Contribute to a modern React front end for an enterprise SaaS application.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical strategy, testing, and CI/CD improvements.
Work within an AWS environment leveraging GitLab pipelines, Docker, and Terraform.
Frameworks:
Spring Boot, React
Cloud:
AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda)
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of software development experience (Java & Spring Boot required)
Working knowledge of React or another modern front-end framework
Experience with microservices, APIs, and distributed systems
Familiarity with Kafka or other message queues
Experience with AWS and CI/CD pipelines
Strong communication and collaboration skills
