The Job At-A-Glance : The focus of the Senior Income Tax Accountant is to be responsible for the maintenance and preparation of all aspects of the organization’s federal, state, local, and international tax compliance. The Senior Income Tax Accountant should be familiar with a variety of tax related concepts, practices, and procedures globally. This position reports to the Director, Global Taxation. A Typical Day : Demonstrate advanced level knowledge and understanding of global corporate income taxes, including ASC 740 accounting for income taxes Assist in collecting and delivering data to outsourced third-party compliance providers for global income tax provision reporting and return preparation Perform detailed reviews of draft income tax filings prepared by external advisors Prepare quarterly tax provision entries as part of the tax accounting process Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations and facilitate timely payments Research complex issues and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders Lead responses to tax notices and manage resolutions Track and summarize developments in federal, state, and international tax legislation Collect supporting documentation for tax audits conducted by various tax authorities, including coordination with external advisors and internal stakeholders Support the development and mentorship of local and international tax staff Identify and implement process improvement initiatives within tax operations Maintain clear documentation of procedures and processes for all tax-related functions and ensure adherence to internal controls and SOX compliance Assist with outsourced indirect tax compliance, including : Maintain working knowledge of US and international indirect tax complianceCollect information for property tax complianceProcess miscellaneous tax payments as neededPrepare and submit applications / renewals for business and sales tax licenses Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love.
