This position offers an opportunity to provide vital speech-language pathology services within a dynamic K-12 school environment located in Augusta, ME. The role focuses on supporting students' communication development and helping them achieve academic and social success throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory standards.
Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions as required.
Desired Qualifications And Experience
Certification as a Speech?Language Pathologist (SLP), including Clinical Competence Certificate (CCC). Experience working in school?based settings or familiarity with educational speech-language services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school staff.
