Senior Engineer
to join the Test Engineering team in our Genomics Business Unit. This role will focus on designing and building GenAI‑powered test tooling and synthetic test‑data solutions to advance our precision medicine platform. The ideal candidate will leverage generative AI, LLMs, and agentic workflows to automate and enhance software testing, collaborating across teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions that improve patient outcomes.

You are passionate about applying Generative AI to real‑world problems, with proven experience using AI, LLMs, or agentic workflows for software testing and test data creation.
You thrive on solving complex technical challenges, balancing delivery timelines, stakeholder needs, and future scalability.
You understand the intricacies of distributed architectures and their impact on test engineering.
You’ve worked in fast‑paced, agile environments, keeping projects on track, troubleshooting issues, writing documentation, and collaborating across teams.
You enjoy mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of innovation and learning.
You have a track record of quickly mastering complex domains and providing valuable input to product development.
Bonus Points For
Experience with Docker, GCP.
Experience in React, NodeJS, SQL.
Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright).
Experience in biotech, genomics, and precision medicine.
Responsibilities
Research, evaluate, and champion the adoption of GenAI technologies and best practices for test tooling and test data creation within the team and organization.
Define and implement technical solutions and operational processes that elevate the team’s testing capabilities.
Lead the design and delivery of technical roadmaps for GenAI‑driven test infrastructure, often involving cross‑team collaboration.
Architect and build solutions that integrate GenAI, LLMs, and agentic workflows to automate and improve product testing and synthetic data generation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions deliver rapid value and align with customer needs.
Develop a deep understanding of business context and team goals to make informed, independent technical decisions.
Set ambitious goals, take calculated risks, and share learnings to drive continuous improvement.
Build relationships and coordinate across teams and disciplines to achieve positive outcomes.
Define clear success metrics and consistently deliver on them post‑launch throughout the lifecycle of test tools and systems.
Mentor team members on effective use of GenAI tools and methodologies, fostering innovation and continuous learning.
