Position Summary
As a Senior MuleSoft Developer , you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of MuleSoft-based integration solutions that support various business systems and applications. You will work closely with architects, business analysts, and other development teams to ensure the seamless integration of cloud, on-premise, and third‑party applications. Your expertise in MuleSoft , API‑led connectivity , and enterprise application integration will be critical in delivering solutions that drive business efficiency and agility.
Job Duties
Develop robust integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (including Anypoint Studio , Anypoint Exchange , CloudHub , and MuleSoft API Gateway ).
Implement API‑led connectivity patterns, ensuring scalable, reusable, and maintainable APIs.
Develop and optimize APIs, web services, and microservices to facilitate seamless communication between internal and external systems.
Work closely with MuleSoft Architects and other senior technical team members to define integration patterns, architecture, and best practices.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of integration documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and API documentation.
Ensure that integration solutions follow established coding standards, security best practices, and industry standards.
Participate in code reviews, providing mentorship to junior developers and helping to enforce best practices.
Analyze, debug, and troubleshoot production issues related to integration solutions and APIs.
Continuously improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of existing integrations by identifying bottlenecks and implementing enhancements.
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other cross‑functional teams to gather integration requirements and design effective solutions.
Provide technical leadership and guidance on best practices in integration development.
Manage and maintain integration solutions post‑deployment, ensuring they meet performance, availability, and reliability objectives.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in MuleSoft development, API management, and integration technologies.
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, including training sessions, workshops, and documentation.
Job Qualifications
5+ years of hands‑on development experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform , including Anypoint Studio , CloudHub , DataWeave , and API Gateway .
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with 10+ years of Work Experience OR
Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with 5+ years of Work Experience is Required
Proven experience in designing and building APIs using MuleSoft , implementing API‑led connectivity patterns.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs , SOAP Web Services , HTTP , JSON , XML , and OAuth 2.0 .
Experience with CI / CD pipelines , Git , and DevOps practices for MuleSoft deployments.
Proficiency in MuleSoft’s DataWeave for data transformation and integration.
Familiarity with integration frameworks and enterprise integration patterns (EIP).
Experience integrating MuleSoft with various technologies, including databases, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), cloud applications (Salesforce, AWS, etc.), and third‑party services.
Understanding of cloud‑based solutions , specifically AWS , Azure , or Google Cloud .
Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues and propose innovative solutions.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve problems independently.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
