Senior Software Engineer - Supply Platform

StubHub is seeking Senior Software Engineers to design and develop next-generation technologies and complex features that transform how millions of users explore, interact with, and participate in live events. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the teams commercial and product strategy and balance user needs with sound commercial judgment. You will be expected to demonstrate initiative and leadership, mentoring teammates and fostering an inclusive culture. Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) Aliso Viejo, CA or Los Angeles, CA About The Team
The Supply Platform team ensures that managing all seller ticket inventory coming into and out of StubHub is fast, automated where possible, and protected by fraud prevention and country-specific compliance measures. The team focuses on meeting SLAs at scale and maintaining reliable ticket listings for the consumer side of StubHub. What You'll Do Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain improvements that span frontend and backend code across StubHubs platforms and products, delivering high-quality outcomes. Collaborate with teammates to ensure best practices across our codebase. Manage individual initiative priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with technical excellence. Mentor other team members and help increase the technical capabilities of the team, fostering inclusion, results-oriented execution, open innovation, and creativity.
What You've Done
6+ years of professional software development experience. Extensive experience building robust, mission-critical systems using multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, C#). Experience in one or more areas such as Infrastructure, Databases, Data Processing, Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, Security, and Privacy. Proven ability to design and develop solutions with significant business impact. Strong understanding of how systems interact with the production environment, including dependencies and platform primitives. Proven ability to learn new languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools. Experience owning projects from idea to production. Experience mentoring junior engineers.

Salary Range: $200,000$250,000 USD. Actual compensation varies by qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base salary is one component of StubHubs total compensation package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits. About Us
