Apply troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, including hardware and operating systems integration. Co?operate with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and document advanced IT processes and procedures. Lead and coordinate Red Hat installation and configuration. Design, develop, and deploy Red Hat Podman containers. Support server internals (DNS, DHCP, AD, RAID, backup, replication) on both Windows and Linux platforms. Install and configure software applications requested by end users. Document and deliver training on advanced IT processes and procedures. Operate systems 24x7; be prepared for work beyond standard hours. Maintain a full?time 100% onsite presence.
Qualifications You Must Have
University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Active and transferable U.S. government?issued Secret clearance required prior to start date (U.S. citizenship required). Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Server, Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, BackupExec, NetBackup, and prior systems/network administration. Knowledge of Windows or Linux administration, backup and recovery suites.
Qualifications We Prefer
DoD Directive (DoDD) 8140/8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) and an operating system certification. Experience in server architecture, troubleshooting methods, and solution development/documentation. Proficiency with VMWare vCenter, vSphere, Linux desktops, Windows desktops (10/11), Splunk, and ESX or other virtual computing methods. Direct working experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS, and/or DoD/RMF. Experience with NAS/SAN storage technologies and solutions. Support for engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development. Microsoft WSUS, SCCM, and/or Exchange experience. High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment. Scripting experience.
