Insurance Coverage Paralegal/ Risk Analyst
Beacon Hill Legal is looking for a paralega/risk analyst for an opportunity at a corporation in Ohio! This is a REMOTE position.
This role supports the firm's business insurance coverage team with a focus on policyholder-side casualty programs. The paralegal will manage insurance documentation, coordinate renewals, and assist in claims and policy analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a liaison with brokers, agents, underwriters, and carriers for policy negotiations, renewals, and claims communications.
Track and analyze data related to claims reporting, insurance policies, and costs.
Coordinate and manage annual insurance policy renewals to ensure adequate coverage and cost efficiency.
Review certificates of insurance and declarations pages for compliance with standards.
Analyze Workers' Compensation loss runs for multiple clients.
Assist in collecting and maintaining documentation for liability, property, workers' compensation, and auto claims.
Support ongoing insurance archeology projects.
Prepare reports and summaries for client leadership, including trend analysis and insurance portfolio updates.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance, risk management, or compliance.
Experience working directly with brokers and familiarity with insurance markets preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Deep understanding of insurance products, underwriting, and risk financing strategies.
