Helpdesk Technician Crane Agency, an insurance brokerage agency in Chesterfield, Missouri, is seeking a dedicated Helpdesk Technician.

Work as a key member of our IT team, handling helpdesk inquiries, ticketing system (e.g., Halo), and end‑user hardware/software support.

Maintain our agency management system and ensure smooth operation of end‑user devices.

What You’ll Be Doing

Respond promptly to help desk inquiries via phone, email, or face‑to‑face.

Log and manage work orders using our ticketing software.

Provide end‑user support for software applications and troubleshoot computers, hardware, and peripherals.

Assist in setting up and deploying new PCs and provide support for computer software, security, system access, and virus elimination.

Collaborate with the IT team to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and maintain detailed documentation for future reference.

Deliver monthly status reports to the appropriate supervisor.

Requirements

1–2 years of prior help desk experience working directly with end‑users.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Office 365 – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Knowledge of ticketing systems such as Halo and RMM; Ninja is a plus.

Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, PoE) and experience with Active Directory.

Employment Details Employee Type:

Hourly (eligible for overtime).

Schedule:

Full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday with occasional overtime for projects and off‑hour support.

Location:

Chesterfield, MO 63017. In‑office presence required for desk‑side support.
