Each community offers a comprehensive continuum of care that includes Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.

We are currently seeking a

Sous Chef

at our

Fort Worth - Clearfork

community. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of culinary techniques and ingredients. The Sous Chef will also be responsible for managing the kitchen staff, ensuring that all food is prepared in a timely manner, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. The Sous Chef reports directly to our

Executive Chef

who oversees day-to-day operations of the community's

Back of House Food & Beverage

department.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards

Manage the kitchen staff, ensuring that all food is prepared in a timely manner

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen

Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations

Assist in menu planning and recipe development

Train and mentor kitchen staff

Order and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and equipment

Assist in the preparation of food as needed

Requirements

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role

Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients

Strong leadership and management skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

High school diploma or equivalent; degree from a culinary school is a plus
