Receiving Coordinator (On‑Site) Join the team at Lief Labs, a premier formulation and product development innovator focused on dietary supplements. Summary The Receiving Coordinator will oversee the receiving and inspection of incoming materials, manage inventory accuracy, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to support production schedules. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and a focus on compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Coordinate receipt of raw ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies; verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing lists.

Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of materials in accordance with established procedures.

Maintain accurate inventory records; perform cycle counts and physical inventories; reconcile discrepancies.

Conduct inspections of incoming materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Report quality issues, damages, or discrepancies and initiate corrective actions as necessary.

Ensure compliance with cGMP and other regulatory requirements related to receiving operations.

Communicate with suppliers and freight carriers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve delivery‑related issues.

Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship; enforce safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Implement measures to minimize waste, reduce environmental impact, and comply with applicable regulations.

Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in receiving, warehousing, or materials management within a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including FIFO and lot tracking.

Knowledge of cGMP requirements and quality management systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with inventory management software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Forklift certification.

Work Environment & Physical Demands The office is clean, orderly, well lit, and properly ventilated. Noise levels are low to moderate. The employee may be exposed to raw materials, including allergens (milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy). Duties require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently grasp, lift, and/or move items up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 33 lbs.

Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate: $22.00–$26.00 (USD). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance, wellness benefits, education reimbursement program, and PTO.
