Job Summary
We are looking for a
SAP Cyber Security Analyst
who has experience with SAP Security controls for a 12‑month contract in San Antonio, TX. This is a contract role, paid $40–45 per hour, with work hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and be proficient with SAP GRC tools.
Responsibilities
Provide SAP security design, administration, and analysis of risk across all SAP modules.
Analyze SAP ECC/BI role requirements for maintenance/development across landscapes while maintaining segregation of duties (SoD) and meeting change‑management specifications.
Configure, test, and maintain SAP GRC 10.1 (e.g., Access Control, Emergency Access Management) or higher.
Identify and resolve SoD conflicts or risks within SAP transaction groups, working with stakeholders.
Create written deliverables and presentations for key stakeholders.
Participate in phone, video, and in‑person meetings and collaborate closely with SAP support teams to resolve problems.
Translate authorization concepts to business owners, SAP support teams, and security staff.
Collaborate with security staff, audit team, risk management, SAP support teams, and business owners to ensure proper controls for SAP roles and authorizations, supporting governance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
Preferred certifications: CEH, CFR, CCNA Cyber Ops, CCNA‑Security, CHFI, CySA+, GCFA, or CIH.
Experience with SAP Access Control, user authorization management, and SAP security systems.
Working knowledge of IT security principles, vulnerability management, patch management, and incident response.
Proficiency with SIEM tools and vulnerability scanning, and the ability to interpret network tool data.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Organized, responsive, and thorough problem‑solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in information technology or security (system administration or help desk).
