The Dining Room Ambassador serves as the first point of contact for members and guests in the dining room, ensuring a welcoming, seamless, and memorable experience. This role combines elements of service, table management, and operational support, creating an environment where every member and guest feels valued and cared for.
Job Responsibilities
Greet members and guests warmly upon arrival and provide a professional and friendly first impression.
Escort members and guests to their tables, assist with seating arrangements, and ensure special requests are accommodated.
Maintain active communication with servers, hosts, and management to ensure smooth service flow.
Respond promptly and courteously to member and guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
Monitor dining room conditions to ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment.
Support team members with setup, clearing, and resetting tables as needed.
Assist with reservations, waitlists, and seating rotations to maximize efficiency.
Promote a positive dining culture through professionalism, attentiveness, and teamwork.
Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or member/guest relations preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast‑paced environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for members and guests.
Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the dining area for extended periods.
Work schedule will primarily include PM shifts; flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required.
Background check and drug screen required.
