We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic and fast-paced finance team within a growing industrial services organization. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple ERP systems, support audit readiness, and contribute to ongoing centralization and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Oversee the management of traditional fixed asset items, including onboarding, reconciliation, retiring, pairing, and modifying fixed assets.
Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and prepare detailed financial reports.
Support audit readiness and develop processes to maintain regular fixed asset activities.
Communicate effectively with over 100 locations, including sites in Canada, to implement fixed asset processes.
Contribute to the centralization and process improvement initiatives for the finance team.
Manage and work with large datasets and ensure data integrity across all locations.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Several years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with industry exposure.
Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting and general ledger processes.
Proficiency in ERP systems; familiarity with NetSuite and Sage is preferred.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, able to efficiently manage and analyze large datasets.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with both US GAAP and statutory standards, such as those in Puerto Rico and the UK.
Work Environment This role focuses on giving full attention to fixed assets, which include approximately 10,000 items such as forklifts, manufacturing equipment, power machines, and intangibles. The work involves building and regulating processes for fixed asset management. The position requires communication across more than 100 locations, including international sites, to ensure compliance and process adherence. The work environment is fast-paced, with a focus on process improvement and data management.
Job Type & Location Permanent position based out of Greenville, South Carolina.
Pay and Benefits Pay range: $82,500.00 – $93,000.00 per year.
