The Propane Specialist is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to our customers. The Propane Specialist will deliver, load, and unload propane while providing exceptional customer service. The Propane Specialist is also accountable for upholding the highest safety standards, conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.

What You’ll Do

Transfer, collect, load, and deliver propane products to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks, and/or cylinders) for customers. Initiate and conduct the asset verification process. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.

Leverage technology to monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels, and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers and submit daily driver reports as needed.

Maintain equipment to the highest safety standards; report mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and document pre- and post- vehicle inspections, site inspections, and visual tank inspections.

Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling; notify dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately.

Provide propane tank installations in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with codes and safety policies; identify and correct leaks; respond to emergencies; complete tank inspections, repairs, and spare tank maintenance.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of one (1) year propane-related experience preferred.

CDL Class A or B.

Tanker & Hazmat endorsements preferred.

Clean driver’s abstract.

Up-to-date DOT medical certification.

Willingness to rotate “on call” status during evenings and weekends as needed.

Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

Pay Transparency The hourly rate for this position is $19.00 - $28.00 per hour. Pay rate is based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, geographical location, and market considerations.
