SUMMARY Nob Hill Catering DBA The LunchMaster is the pioneer in preparing and distributing high quality meals to local schools. The LunchMaster has worked successfully with 100+ Bay Area, Central Valley and Los Angeles schools for more than 20 years to provide delicious, nutritious meals that kids and adults like, eat and enjoy.
The Part-Time Office Assistance supports the daily operations of the front office, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The position involves both clerical responsibilities and light facility upkeep, contributing to a clean, organized, and professional workplace.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assemble and staple delivery reports. • Record and log temperature readings. • Cut and separate paper materials, including carbon copy forms. • Complete paperwork updates and maintain organized filing systems. • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner. • Restock office supplies, including coffee bar items. • Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including the bathroom. • Prepare and roll a week's worth of labels for operations. • Assist with additional administrative and facility-related tasks as needed. • Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS • High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training is a plus. • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office, administrative, or customer service role preferred. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and standard office equipment. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities. • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a professional demeanor.
LANGUAGE SKILLS A working knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written; Spanish is a plus. Must have the ability to interpret written and verbal requests as required. Strong oral and written communication skills coupled with the interpersonal skills are needed to create and maintain a team centered environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands of this position are typical of those found in a warehouse & food service setting. Some lifting will be required. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. is required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT The environment can be fast paced and hectic with a high volume of work.
