SUMMARY Manage all activities as well as a staff in a personal trust office setting. Provide account administration for a small book of business to ensure client satisfaction both Trust and Financial Advisor (i.e., account opening, encroachment requests and tax preparation).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, lead, manage and motivate staff. Explain team and individual goals and objectives.

Oversee facility management, supplies, and contracts.

Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking and cohesive team effort.

Manage Human Resources processes for reviews, new hires, terminations, etc.

Assist staff with continuing professional development. Ensure team members have the necessary education and training to effectively participate on the team.

Collaborate with senior management on designing, implementing and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Actively participate in preliminary discovery of new business opportunities; perform administrative reviews; interact with Financial Advisors; coordinate with business development and document review to evaluate and determine appropriateness of the business.

Perform account administration functions according to internal policies and procedures to be efficient and compliant (i.e., account opening, account closing, monitoring investment objectives, overseeing charging and collecting of fees, annual account reviews, encroachment requests and tax preparation).

Respond in a timely manner to management, auditors, and bank examiners’ inquiries as requested; proactively accept responsibility for solutions and resolutions to problems, reconciliations, and account reviews and ensure senior management is apprised of all pertinent issues.

Other related duties assigned as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES

A good working knowledge of all types of Fiduciary relationships

Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills

Strong organizational skills and aptitude for detail

Teamwork and leadership orientation

Ability to easily adapt to changing work environment

CTFA (Certified Trust Financial Advisor) designation will be beneficial

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Management

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

7+ years’ experience

JOBS POLICY Internal applicants must be in good standing and have a minimum of 1 year of service with Kestra. Internal applicants must also have a minimum of 1 year service in current role unless approved by EVP.
