Overview
The People & Culture Systems Analyst, Benefits will serve as a subject matter expert in implementing and maintaining the benefits systems. This role supports the day-to-day administration of Health and Welfare benefits programs (health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, group travel, group legal, Identity theft protection, cancer services, pet insurance, LTC, back-up dependent care, workers comp, life, AD&D, flexible spending plans) and may assist with leave administration, benefit analyses for potential M&A opportunities, new benefit initiatives, and benefit survey questionnaires. Base pay
$75,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert on benefits systems, identify gaps, resolve issues, and drive system improvements Analyze technology trends to fit business needs Assist employees, partners, retirees and COBRA participants with benefit-related questions; research issues; interpret policies and procedures Assist with due diligence of benefit programs for potential M&A opportunities, including detailed comparative financial analyses Monitor and audit benefit plan data sent to carriers; maintain strong relationships with carriers and internal payroll Assist the Leave of Absence Administrator with leave requests, prepare FMLA documentation, monitor and track leaves, and maintain records Maintain data integrity for all benefit programs offered to employees, partners, retirees and COBRA participants Assist with creation and implementation of new benefit initiatives, including annual open enrollment, wellness plan design, and system capabilities Review plans and stay current on ACA, HIPAA and other compliance requirements for health and welfare plans Participate in and complete benefits surveys and submit to third-party consultants for analysis Document and maintain administrative procedures for benefit processes Prepare ACA reporting, monthly plan financial reporting and metrics; assist in leadership recommendations Participate in People & Culture projects and perform related duties as assigned Other duties as required Supervisory Responsibilities

Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources or Finance Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
3+ years’ benefits/HR experience Experience with benefits system administration and implementation, including data accuracy and system testing Experience with self-insured health care plans (preferred) Advanced skill in Excel CEBS (preferred) PHR (preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Office; Oracle HCM experience (preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication; strong client service and organizational skills Knowledge of federal and state regulations affecting employee benefits (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, Medicare, Social Security, DOL) (preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail Ability to multi-task and work independently or in a team; meet deadlines Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Ability to adapt communication style for diverse audiences Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment Strong HR policies knowledge and practices Additional Remarks
