Salary: $80,000 – $90,000

Job Summary As Director of Dining Services, you will lead a team of food service professionals to deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective care across retail, cafeteria, and catering operations. You will oversee client satisfaction, quality improvement, sanitation, infection control, and all food service‑related activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage salaried managers and hourly associates in the Food Service Department
Oversee overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the account
Interview, hire, train, assign, and appraise associates; discipline, reward, resolve complaints, and address problems
Prepare and manage the annual budget
Utilize company systems for required daily, weekly, and monthly reports such as inventory, cash, production, payroll, and time‑keeping
Oversee and participate in the preparation and service of food and beverage items in adherence to company food standards for preparation, presentation, sanitation and safety, meeting HACCP and OSHA guidelines and portion control
Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A. Degree plus four years of directly related experience preferred
Five to seven years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
Strong knowledge of food and catering trends focused on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
Prior P&L accountability or contract‑managed service experience is desirable
Strong supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels (management, client, customer, associate)
Excellent financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, e‑mail, and the Internet
