Staff Software Engineer – Salesforce Opportunity We are seeking a Staff Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in scaling our business solutions, with a special emphasis on security. This role requires a high degree of autonomy and technical leadership. You will be responsible for translating complex business needs into well‑architected, scalable, and secure solutions that align with the company’s strategic goals. You’ll collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and other engineers to drive projects from ideation to production.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead architectural design for large‑scale Salesforce implementations, particularly within the Sales and CPQ domains.

Take ownership of end‑to‑end delivery lifecycle for complex projects, from discovery and design phases through to deployment and post‑launch support.

Mentor and influence other engineers, elevating the team’s technical capabilities and Salesforce expertise.

Communicate and collaborate across functions, articulating solution benefits and risks to align solutions with program goals.

Build agents using Agentforce, develop platform AI capabilities, implement custom AI agentic frameworks, and leverage open‑source libraries.

Influence future technical and business roadmaps, driving long‑term architectural improvements.

Distill broad, ambiguous business problems into concrete, solvable technical projects.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

7+ years of Salesforce development expertise (Apex, Process/Flow Automations, Lightning Web Components).

5+ years of general software engineering experience (Java, Python, or JavaScript).

Extensive architectural leadership on medium to large‑scale Salesforce projects with a deep understanding of lifecycle and design patterns.

In‑depth knowledge of Sales Cloud and CPQ domains.

Expertise in modern AI agent frameworks, RAG pipelines, and vector search technologies.

Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Salesforce DX.

Solid understanding of Salesforce security features and data privacy regulations.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Additional Credit

Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II or Technical Architect.

Experience designing or implementing advanced Salesforce DevOps practices.

Experience improving customer support workflows at scale.

Previous work in a high‑growth, SaaS, fast‑paced technology company.

Salary and Benefits Annual base salary range for San Francisco Bay Area: $170,000—$254,000 USD.

Annual base salary range for California (excluding Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington: $151,000—$227,000 USD.
