The role of Indirect Procurement Manager is responsible for the procurement of products and services to support but not limited to manufacturing and packaging operations, facilities management, professional services, marketing services, IT related services, HR related services, MRO, and capital goods.
What We Offer
Competitive Pay:
Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 Base Salary
Total Compensation is comprised of a base salary plus target bonus

What You’ll Do
Drive cost savings, cost avoidance and cash improvement on organizations indirect spend
Lead the development and execution of the Indirect Procurement strategy across the organization
Work closely with stakeholders and suppliers in the indirect sourcing process, including RFP/RFI/RFQ generation and evaluation, category analysis, supplier selection, continuity of supply and contract negotiation
Develop supply management strategies by which suppliers are evaluated, selected and managed in accordance with established guidelines and best practices (RFI/RFP/RFQ, Scorecards, performance metrics)
Determine and drive alternate supply strategies to create cost savings and/or risk mitigation
Reduce and manage working capital by driving vendor payment terms and managing inventory within the target levels
Focus on continuous improvement building supply chain excellence and best practices
Place and execute purchase orders as specified by the needs of the business, follow up and expediting orders to ensure satisfactory delivery
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in indirect or strategic procurement
Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
Ability to perform complex tasks and to prioritize multiple projects
Knowledge of cost analysis practices
Ability to evaluate procurement bids in accordance with established criteria
Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed for interaction with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions
Strong Negotiating skills
Ability to assess contract compliance and product/service quality
Ability to analyze and solve problems
Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments
Ability to prepare formal procurement documentation in compliance with Company business policies.
