We are seeking a Senior Account Manager specializing in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our dynamic, global overlay sales team in Germany. Responsibilities
Customer Expansion : Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to drive FP&A adoption across existing Unit4 ERP, ERPx, and CODA customers. Solution Selling : Position Unit4 FP&A as a transformative solution for financial planning, analysis, and decision-making. Tailor messaging to customer pain points and business goals. Collaborative Engagement : Partner with Account Managers, FP&A specialist Solution Consultants and Value Engineering to build joint account plans and deliver seamless customer experiences. Executive Influence : Lead high-impact conversations with CFOs, Finance Directors, and other senior stakeholders to demonstrate the strategic value of FP&A. Pipeline Generation : Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities through data analysis, customer insights, and proactive outreach. Sales Excellence : Own the full sales cycle—from discovery to close—ensuring accurate forecasting and consistent quota achievement. Qualifications
Proven success in
SaaS sales , with a minimum of 5 years' experience in FP&A sales or related roles, with a proven track record in account management. Experience in selling
FP&A software . Strong understanding of
financial processes , planning cycles, and performance management. Experience working with
existing customer bases
to drive expansion and adoption. Ability to engage and influence
C-level executives , especially within Finance. Collaborative mindset with a hunter mentality—comfortable working across teams to drive results. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Outstanding ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial audiences. Solid understanding of financial markets, economic trends, and industry-specific regulations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong leadership qualities and experience in mentoring junior team members. Additional Information
