Transform the Future of Healthcare Through Strategic Procurement About the Role Lead our global raw materials procurement strategy with a multi-billion euro portfolio across Sanofi's business units. As a key executive with visibility to the Executive Committee, you'll drive innovation, sustainability, and value while leading a talented team of ~30 procurement professionals worldwide.
What You'll Do
Develop and execute global sourcing strategies across all business units, managing categories including MnRa, Advanced Sourcing, API & Excipients, Animal Derivatives, and Bio-process Materials
Lead and mentor a diverse team of 30 procurement professionals across regions
Drive TCO optimization and digital transformation initiatives
Establish strategic supplier relationship management programs
Champion risk management and supply chain resilience strategies
Integrate ESG and sustainability principles into procurement practices
Collaborate with R&D, M&S, and Quality teams as a permanent member of the MSAT Leadership Team
Lead strategic negotiations with key suppliers to ensure business continuity
About you Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Sciences, Engineering, or Business
MBA or equivalent advanced degree
15+ years experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry procurement
Strong focus on GMP raw materials and category management
Proven track record leading global teams and managing complex projects
Deep understanding of biopharmaceutical raw materials and operations
Knowledge of pharmaceutical quality systems and regulatory requirements
Key Competencies:
Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills
Strategic mindset with ability to navigate complex matrix organizations
French and English business fluent
