Tax Experienced Associate – Flow Through & Individual Overview

Responsibilities

Provide federal tax compliance and advisory services to S‑corporations, partnerships, individuals, and corporations ranging from middle market to multinational companies.

Participate in tax research projects, help draft IRS responses, and address other tax authority inquiries.

Work with leaders on special projects in corporate and flow‑through taxation such as accounting methods and ASC 740.

Develop and communicate recommendations to clients and leadership for strategic decisions.

Collaborate with specialty tax practices on complex state, local, high net worth, international, research and development, and incentive matters.

Learn and grow from on‑the‑job coaching and mentoring, and participate in firm‑wide learning and development programs.

Build strong relationships internally and externally with clients using entrepreneurial skills.

Maintain work‑life balance through friendships, social activities, and team outings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or law, or a related business degree with sufficient coursework and credits to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam in the state considered.

CPA or JD license preferred.

One or more years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm.

Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.

Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills, initiative, and adaptability.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is $63,200 to $119,820. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
