Auto Physical Damage and Property Damage Claims Analyst
IAT Insurance Group has an immediate opening for an Auto Physical Damage and Property Damage Claims Analyst that can be located in one of the following IAT offices: Naperville, Illinois; Rolling Meadows, Illinois; Scottsdale, Arizona; Raleigh, North Carolina; Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role works a hybrid schedule from one of the listed offices, with in-office presence Monday through Wednesday and remote options Thursday and Friday.
Responsibilities
Completes timely handling of auto claims (total loss and non-total loss) to ensure proper valuations, timely settlement offers and responses to counteroffers, and proper settlement outcomes according to state statutes and regulatory policy.
Complies with Claims Best Practices to ensure claim handling discipline and superior quality.
Establishes 24-hour contact and maintains appropriate contact with all involved stakeholders throughout the life of the claim file.
Ensures timely and accurate reserving practices.
Ensures adequacy of reserves, confirms, or denies coverage and advises policyholders and claimants as to proper course of action.
Negotiates settlements within prescribed authority and explains denials to policyholders, claimants, and attorneys.
Performs other duties as needed.
Qualifications Must-Have:
HS degree/GED with 2+ years of relevant claims experience
Appropriate claims adjuster licenses
Skilled at recognizing questionable coverage/contract situations which necessitate supervisory involvement and able to demonstrate a thorough understanding and use of basic policy/contract coverages
Strong understanding of legal, regulatory and compliance requirements
Ability to handle multiple claims work systems
Ability to set priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment
To qualify, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require VISA sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment purposes.
Preferred To Have:
Associate/Bachelor’s degree
Experience handling commercial claims
Experience handling non-total loss claims for commercial and personal lines customers

Compensation Please note the annual gross salary range associated with this posting is $52,900 – $83,800. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, and geographical location related to this role. Total compensation includes base salary, performance-based bonus opportunities, 401(k) match, profit-sharing opportunities, and more.
